The Groucho Club has announced the 2012 shortlist for its Maverick Award for the artist who's best challenged the international cultural landscape through their creativity.
Nominees include Danny Boyle, Deborah Curtis, Michael Fassbender, Noel Fielding, Sir Grayson Perry and Pussy Riot, and the winner's announced November 6 at an awards ceremony hosted by Sue Perkins and Fay Weldon.
